
FACILITIES MECHANIC
Position Summary:
Perform mechanical
actions necessary to establish the 25 work stations
related to the process flow IAW the Facilities Plan.
Major Duties:
- Perform all mechanical tasks necessary
to install all equipment for the 25 operational work
areas which will result in setting up of 95 individual
tank modification work stations. This includes the
work stations from M1A2 induction through the Modification
process to M1A2S tank shipping.
- Fabricates and assembles prototype
parts, test fixtures and tools from blueprints.
- Removes, disassembles, assembles,
repairs, modifies, etc. components as necessary.
- Must be able to use hand, bench and
machine tools.
- He will work as a team member with
the welder, millwright, electrician, machinist, crane
operator, etc., under the supervision of the Facilities
Lead to insure all welding is done IAW the Facilities
Plan.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must have the ability to use a variety
of tools and equipment.
- Must meet ASR guidelines.
- Must be able to work in a team-oriented
structure.
- Must be able to qualify for a Saudi
driver’s license.
- High School or Vocational/Technical
School graduate.
