
CONTRACTS SPECIALIST
Position Summary:
Assists the Contract Manager in overall contractual
obligations of the Facilitization program.
Major Duties:
- Contract Administration duties including
support of negotiations, execution, modifications,
correspondence and customer interface.
- Coordinate all required approvals
and notifications pursuant to Contract Administration
actions or documents.
- Participate and advise in the preparation
of quotations, bids and proposals.
- Draft Sales Orders, Requests for Estimates
and all other required contract administration documentation.
- Develop, manage and negotiate agreements
(software, licenses, non-disclosure, proprietary).
- Manage and negotiate software and
data rights assertions.
- Follow-up and tracking on customer
correspondence and issues.
- Interface with internal and external
customers to ensure prompt resolution of problems.
- Organize, track and input data to
support department metrics and quality initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Pre-Law, appropriate
Liberal Arts.
- Other disciplines considered with
related experience.
- Masters or Law Degree desirable.
- Adherence to schedules and ability
to meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities
and accomplish tasks in a timely and professional
manner.
- Knowledge of the FAR and DFAR desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication
skills (written and verbal) required.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite,
specifically in Excel and Word.
